Kiersten Marie Newborn Sessions are different from traditional newborn photography.
I embrace simplicity and focus on the beauty that lies within the bonds you share with your baby.

I don’t believe in putting babies in unnatural poses with artificial props. Instead, I’ll capture the organic, heartfelt interactions between family members. The moments that really matter to you.

I welcome and celebrate all kinds of families. If that’s not something you’re comfortable with, I’m not the photographer for you.

WHO:

You, your new baby, and anyone else who makes your family complete—
siblings, grandparents, and pets are always welcome and encouraged to participate in these sessions!

WHEN:
Sessions can happen as early as 5 days old, but anytime within the first 1-2 months is still perfect for capturing the sweet newborn stage. Whatever feels right for you!

WHERE:
In the comfort of your home! There’s no need to pack a diaper bag or plan an outing with a brand new baby. Your cozy space is the perfect place for these moments.

HOW LONG:
Session are roughly 45 minutes! I refuse to take up too much of this sweet (and super busy) time for you. This also tends to be the sweet spot when Newborns tap out.

Kiersten Marie Newborn Sessions feel less like a photo shoot and more like a relaxed morning with a friend (who happens to have a camera). I’ll gently guide you when needed, but I love stepping back to let the natural magic of your family unfold.

  • 45 minutes - 1 hour of photo coverage
    in the comfort of your own home (if we need more time, no problem).

  • Complimentary travel within 10 miles of downtown Seattle.
    Beyond that, travel fees apply to cover time and expenses

  • Newborn Photo Sessions range from $999 to $1499.
    All packages include digital images, delivered within 7 business days of your session.

Hey! I’m Kiersten. (She/Her/Hers). I’m a newborn, family, and headshot photographer.

While I've called Seattle home for quite some time now, my roots lie in Minnesota, where the spirit of "Minnesota nice" runs deep in my veins and reflects in both my personal and professional life.

One thing I often hear from clients is how comfortable I make them feel during our sessions, which is my ultimate goal (besides, you know, getting gorgeous photos together).

If you’re searching for a photographer who keeps things relaxed and easy, you’ve landed in the right spot. I'm not the type to go all out with loud cheers or make you do zany antics just to get “the perfect shot” (not that there’s nothing wrong with that).

Instead, I believe in going with the flow because let's face it, both photo sessions and life never go exactly as planned (especially with fussy toddlers or, you know, husbands). During a session, you’ll often find me cracking jokes, helping you remember what to do with your hands, or just backing up and making space for you to relax with your people. My calm approach allows clients to not feel pressured to be anything but themselves.

Oh, and when I'm not behind the camera, you can probably find me sipping one of Seattle’s many amazing lattes, playing guitar, obsessing over my plants, or enjoying the absolute beauty of the Pacific Northwest with my Korean rescue pup named Fig.
