1-year Old Family Garden Session
When it comes to family photography in Seattle, location is so crucial. You might feel like you need to pick an iconic location with the perfect view of the Seattle skyline. However, it’s important to remember that these are family photos—that means your little crew should be the stars of the show! That’s why I love choosing a location that can act as a lovely support rather than a show-stealer.
Fun fact—some of my favorite locations for Seattle portrait sessions are in lesser-known areas, like this 1-year old photo session in a little neighborhood in Queen Anne. Having a family photo shoot in a laid-back location like this helps to avoid crowds (especially helpful in COVID-19 times) and allows kids to feel comfortable and free to explore.
This family session was so fun and filled with beautiful big trees, magical little stairways, and viewpoints that suddenly appear like a gorgeous mirage.
